Jackie Robinson

Yes, I agree that Jackie Robinson deserves to be ranked as one of the greatest civil rights figures. He was the first African American in the Major Leagues. He stood up for what he believed in and at the end, everyone loved him. When people tried to get in his way, he wouldn't let them. Robinson showed that anyone can do anything if they tried hard enough. People realized he was a great baseball player and didn't care what color he's skin was. He allowed people to see that African Americans are not different from whites. Jackie Robinson stood up for African Americans and deserves to be ranked one of the most important people in the Civil Rights Movement.
